Sacramental and Cultural Offerings

House of Seba serves as a center for:

  • Sacramental Ganja cultivation and distribution—clean, organic, and used only in sacred context.

  • Reasoning sessions with elders, priests, and holistic healers.

  • Ras Tafari Cultural Experiences, including drumming, chanting, herbal education, and Ital food preparation.

  • Garden Tours to educate visitors on the seed-to-sacrament journey of ganja, guided by the principles of sustainability and reverence.

  • New and Full Moon Gatherings, celebrating spiritual cycles with prayer, communion, and collective upliftment.

Ancestral Service and Indigenous Sovereignty:

House of Seba honors the elders and ancestors who preserved this livity through persecution and poverty. A portion of every contribution supports the elders who laid the groundwork for today’s freedoms, often without recognition in the emerging industry. The House also operates under the banner of Sovereign Indigenous Identity, aligned with international declarations such as the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). This ensures that Ras Tafari people retain control over their sacred traditions, lands, and medicines.

A Living Sanctuary:

From the call of the Nyabinghi drums to the scent of burning frankincense, every aspect of House of Seba is designed to create a holy vibration. The sacred space is open to visitors who come in reverence—to learn, to reason, to heal, or to simply be. House of Seba is not just a place—it is a living testimony that the ancient livity of the Ras Tafari people is not dead. It is alive, sovereign, and rising once again through the works of the faithful.

Who We Are

House of Seba stands as a Sovereign-Indigenous Ras Tafari Sacred Space in the heart of Saltmarsh Square, Trelawny—also known as Kojo Town, in honor of the Maroon freedom fighter. This sacred space is more than just a location; it is a spiritual, cultural, and communal center, established to carry forward the ancient Livity of the Ras Tafari people.

Founding Visionaries:

House of Seba was founded by Ras Jabali and Empress Malia, parents to eight children, each raised in the discipline, reverence, and teachings of Ras Tafari livity. Together, they laid the foundation of House of Seba not just as a home, but as a haven—a beacon of truth and righteousness, rooted in the legacy of those who came before. Ras Jabali, a spiritual leader and community organizer, is known for his unwavering commitment to the advancement of indigenous sovereignty and holistic wellness. Empress Malia, a nurturing force and matriarch of the movement, brings ancestral wisdom and feminine strength to the mission. Together, their life’s work honors the elders and warriors who sacrificed for this trod.

Mission and Purpose:

House of Seba was created with a sacred mission to promote, protect, and preserve the ancient Livity of the Ras Tafari people, honoring the ancestors who fought, lived, and died for this sacred trod. In the face of commercialization and cultural dilution, House of Seba reclaims its divine roots. This is a space where the herb remains a sacrament, not a commodity. Where the drum still calls the soul. Where chants still echo the voices of ancestors. And where the youth are taught the truth of who they are and where they come from.
