👑 THE CROWNING THAT UNRAVELED BABYLON
When Haile Selassie I was crowned in 1930, it nullified the spiritual claim of white rulers to dominance over Black and Indigenous people. For the first time since the era of African empires, the world witnessed a Black King who claimed Davidic lineage, divine right, and modern statehood. He represented a sovereign African nation never colonized, defeating the Italian fascists in 1941, just as Mussolini attempted to reestablish the Roman Empire.
His Majesty’s coronation and leadership symbolically and practically overturned the lies of the Papal Bulls, restoring dignity and divinity to the Black man — not in theory, but in living reality.
🔥 RAS TAFARI: The Earth’s Answer to the Doctrine of Discovery
The Ras Tafari movement emerged in Jamaica in the 1930s as a prophetic response to His Imperial Majesty’s crowning. Ras Tafari rejected the lie of Black inferiority and affirmed the Kingship of a living African sovereign. The sacred name Ras Tafari became a banner of liberation, and the movement reconnected the descendants of the enslaved to their roots in Zion — Ethiopia.
Ras Tafari rejected the Vatican’s decrees, the Crown's false dominion, and the colonizer’s religion — choosing instead a livity based on divine order, ancestral reverence, natural living, and sacramental connection with the Most High.
🕊️ A CALL TO REMEMBER & RECLAIM
As we mark the Earthstrong of His Majesty, House of Seba calls on all sons and daughters of the soil to:
• Educate yourselves about the Papal Bulls and their continuing impact on land, identity, and spirituality
• Reclaim your divine inheritance as sovereign, indigenous, and African peoples
• Honor the Earthstrong of His Majesty as a holy day of remembrance and liberation
• Demand the revocation of the Papal Bulls and their legal offspring — including the Doctrine of Discovery, still embedded in international law
• Uphold the legacy of Ras Tafari in word, deed, and sacrament

A Message to the People of the Island
In Honor of the Earthstrong of His Imperial Majesty Qedamawi Haile Selassie I
July 23, 1892 – The Light of the World Was Born
To the Sons and Daughters of the Island,
To the Ones at Home and the Ones Abroad,
To the Tribes Seeking Redemption and Truth:
On this sacred day — July 23rd, we celebrate the Earthstrong of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I, born Tafari Makonnen in Ejersa Goro, Ethiopia, in 1892. This is not merely the birth of a great man, but the incarnation of divine order and African sovereignty — a light born into colonial darkness, a root out of dry ground.
Let this Earthstrong serve as a national and spiritual reminder that our liberation is tied to divine authority, not colonial permission. It is a moment to reflect on His Imperial Majesty's Coronation on November 2, 1930, when Tafari Makonnen was crowned “King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah” in Addis Ababa, in full presence of global powers — including representatives of the Vatican, Britain, and other colonial empires.
This coronation publicly shattered centuries of white supremacy and the religious foundations of colonial domination.
📜 THE PAPAL BULLS: The Root of Our Chains
From as early as 1452, with Pope Nicholas V’s “Dum Diversas”, and later “Romanus Pontifex” (1455) and “Inter Caetera” (1493) by Pope Alexander VI, the Catholic Church gave spiritual and legal authority for the colonization, enslavement, and genocide of Indigenous and African peoples. These Bulls declared that non-Christian lands could be seized, and their peoples enslaved — giving rise to the Doctrine of Discovery and the transatlantic slave trade.
These decrees became the spiritual justification for the genocide of Native peoples of the Americas, and the enslavement of Africans in the Caribbean. The Jamaican Maroons, enslaved Africans, and later Rastafari have resisted this doctrine for centuries, often without the acknowledgment of its source in papal edict.
